The aim of the main Football Rules slot game is to spin the reels and match symbols across the played paylines.

To Play the Game:

• Start by selecting the coin size for your Line Bet. Do this by using the +/- buttons either side of the coin box on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
• Next you must choose your Line Bet. This is achieved by clicking on the Bet per Line button on the bottom left of the screen. Each time you click on this box another coin of your chosen value will be added to the Line Bet. If you continue to click the box the total coins wagered will reset to one. The maximum amount of coins to add to the Line Bet is 10. If you wish to play for a higher Line Bet you must increase the coin size.
• Finally you must choose the number of lines you wish to play for each spin. Do this by pressing the Lines button on the bottom centre of the screen. Each time you press the Lines button another payline will be added to the bet. You can play between 1 and 25 lines for each spin. Lines can also be selected by clicking on one of the numbers on the sides of the reels. Each number refers to that particular payline and all those numerically below it. For example, if you choose ‘20’, paylines 1 through 19 will also be activated for the next spin. Actively pressing the Lines button allows you to view the paylines as they appear across the reels.
• The Total Bet for each spin is calculated as Line Bet x Number of Lines.
• When you have selected your lines and bet, press the Spin button to start the Football Rules slot game. You can also spin the reels by selecting the Bet Max button; this automatically activates all 25 paylines and spins the reels at your chosen Line Bet.
• If a winning spin is achieved it will be clearly highlighted on the reels and the amount won is displayed in the bar located just above the Spin button. If you open the Paytable after a winning spin the value will be clearly highlighted by flashing on screen.
• The Paytable can be accessed by selecting the Paytable button from the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. The Paytable will display all the winning combinations and their values. It also displays a graphic showing where all the paylines are located on the reels. You can also find out more information on the Dollar Ball payouts from the Paytable. Dollar Ball will be explained in greater detail in a section below. To exit the Paytable press the Back button, which is located on the bottom left of the screen.

Paylines:

Paylines are the pathways that matching symbols must follow across the reels to achieve Line Wins. You can view the paylines by actively pressing the Lines Button, or by loading the Paytable to view a graphic.

With the exception of Scatter Wins, all winning combinations must appear on a payline, moving left to right across the reels in an unbroken chain starting on reel 1.

Please Note: the Line Bet and Total Bet are different. The Line Bet is the amount wagered on a single payline, whereas the Total Bet is the accumulative amount wagered on all paylines. The Total Bet is the amount that will be deducted from your balance for each spin played. The value of a Line Win is calculated by multiplying the amount displayed in the Paytable by the Line Bet. The value of a Scatter win is calculated by multiplying the amount displayed in the Paytable by the Total Bet.

About Payouts:

All the winning combinations and their values are displayed in the Paytable. Only the highest win is paid on each individual payline. Multiple wins can occur on different paylines, these are added together and paid as a Total win.

The Wild Symbol can substitute for all other symbols (except Bonus and Scatter) to help make winning combinations (Line Wins). A group of 2 or more Wild Symbols on a payline can also form their own standalone win with a separate payout. In this case it is possible that there will be coinciding wins on the same payline, the Wild Symbol combination and another where the Wild Symbols substitute for others; you will be paid for whichever is higher.

All Line Wins work left to right across the reels starting with reel 1.

Scatter Symbol:

The Scatter Symbol does not need to land on any payline to be considered active. If 3 or more Scatter Symbols appear anywhere on the reels – regardless of how many lines you play – you will be awarded a cash win. This is calculated by multiplying the value in the Paytable by the Total Bet.

Bonus Symbol:

The Bonus Symbols appear on reels 1 and 5 only. If the Bonus Symbol lands on both reels 1 and 5 you will be awarded the Football Rules! Bonus. When the Bonus is awarded:

• You will be taken to a new screen which displays six footballs in front of a football net. You will be prompted to “Choose Your Lucky Ball.” Clicking on a ball will reveal the number of Free Spins you are awarded.  You can reveal up to 20 Free Spins.
• Next you will be awarded a ‘Penalty Kick’, choose the direction of your shot. When the goal is scored it will reveal the multiplier for your Free Spins. You can win up to a 10x multiplier.
• Press Continue to start the Free Spins.
• The Free Spins will play through automatically. On the top left of the screen a box will display the remaining number of free spins, the bet multiplier and the accumulative total won in Free Spins.

Dollar Ball is a lottery type game where the objective is to match your numbers (you must choose 5 numbered balls between 1 and 49) to the numbers drawn. If you match 5 numbers to the drawn numbers you will win the Dollar Ball Progressive Jackpot.

To Play Dollar Ball:

• The Dollar Ball Menu is located on the top right-hand side of your screen. Press Enable to open the Dollar Ball Menu. Click on your 5 numbers to select, or choose the Random Pick option to have them selected at random for you.
• When you have selected your numbers press Activate. This will close the Dollar Ball Menu and confirm your selections. Your selections will be displayed along the top of the screen above the reels.

Shortcut keys

These keys can be used instead of the on-screen buttons.
