The main objective of playing Premium Multi-Hand Blackjack is to beat the dealer’s score. You can play up to five hands simultaneously, with each individually judged against the dealer’s hand. This online blackjack game also offers you the chance to play Perfect Pair and 21+3 Side Bets.
Game Rules:
Standard blackjack rules apply. The dealer must draw to 17 and hit on 16 or below.
Six decks of cards are used and shuffled after each round.
Getting Started:
Note: Placing a chip in more than one betting circle will play an extra hand.
How to Play:
Two cards will be dealt to every hand you have played. The dealer will also receive two cards, one face down and one face up.
When you have finished playing your hand, the dealer will make their play.
When the game has concluded, you will be given the following options:
Multi-Hand Format:
You can play up to five individual hands for each round. To do this, simply place chips in more than one of the betting circles.
Each hand is judged independently against the dealer and is treated as an individual game. Winnings will be awarded individually for each hand that is played.
Split:
If both your initial cards have the same value you will be given the option to Split. This will split the hand in two, with both being played out as separate games.
Note: splitting a hand will cost an extra bet equal to your initial bet.
Insurance:
If the dealer’s first card is an Ace, you will be offered Insurance.
Insurance is a side bet on the prospect of the dealer having blackjack. Insurance will cost half of your initial stake and pay out at 2:1.
If you are playing Multi-Hand, you will be offered Insurance for each individual hand. In addition, a message will appear on screen asking if you wish to accept or decline insurance for every hand being played.
The Insurance bet will lose if the dealer does not have blackjack.
Perfect Pair:
Perfect Pair is a side bet that can be made on either you or the dealer having a pair in the first two cards.
To play, place a chip on the Player Pair section beside the betting circle in your hand. To bet on the dealer having a pair, place a chip in the Dealer Pair section on the top right of the screen.
The game is independent from the main game. You can win the side bet and lose the main game and vice versa.
The payout for winning the Perfect Pair side bet depends on the cards. This is shown in the table below:
Pair | Example | Payout |
Perfect Pair | Two cards of the same value and suit. For example, 2 X King of Diamonds. | 25 to 1 |
Coloured | Two cards of the same value and colour. For example, 1 King of Hearts and 1 King of Diamonds. | 12 to 1 |
Black/Red | Two cards of the same vale, but different colours. For example, 1 King of Clubs and 1 King of Diamonds. | 6 to 1 |
Please note:
21+3 Side Bet:
The 21+3 Side Bet is a wager on making a poker-style hand from your two initial cards and the dealer’s first (showing) card.
Just like Perfect Pair side bets, the outcome of the wager is completely independent from the main game. However, you must place a bet in the main game to play the side bet.
To place a 21+3 Side Bet, place a chip in any of the sections beside the betting circles that you are betting on.
You will win the 21+3 Side Bet if your two cards + the dealer’s first card make up a flush, three of a kind, straight, straight flush or suited three of a kind.
The payouts for the 21+3 Side Bet are displayed in the table below:
Winning Hand | Example | Payout |
Flush | 3 of Hearts, J of Hearts and Ace of Hearts. | 5 to 1 |
Straight | 10, Jack, Queen (any combination of suits). | 10 to 1 |
Three of a Kind | Three 7s (any combination of suits). | 30 to 1 |
Straight Flush | 5 of Diamonds, 6 of Diamonds and 7 of Diamonds. | 40 to 1 |
Suited Three of a Kind | Three Queens (all Clubs etc.) | 100 to 1 |
Please note:
10-Card Charlie:
It is possible in blackjack to draw 10 cards in a single hand without exceeding 21. This is called 10 Card Charlie. If it occurs, you will automatically win the hand providing that the dealer does not have blackjack.
Other Rules:
Return to Player:
The theoretical Return to Player (RTP) for the 21+3 Side Bet is 95.38%. The RTP for the Perfect Pair Side Bet is 93.89%.
