Premium French Roulette

French bets and table layout

The aim of this casino game is to place bets on the outcome of where the ball will land on the roulette wheel. This game uses a standard French Roulette wheel, which has numbers 1-36 coloured Red or Black, as well as 0 which is coloured Green.

To Play the Game:

  • To begin you must choose from the chips arranged on the table. Each chip has a different monetary value clearly marked on it. Click on a chip to select it, then click again on the relevant part of the betting area to place that chip on that bet.
  • You must adhere to the minimum and maximum betting limits in this game. When trying to place a bet that falls outside the brackets of these limits the chips will appear as translucent on the betting area. Your limits may depend on your casino VIP Status.

There are two menus on the right hand side of the screen to place a Neighbour Bet or Announce Bet.

To Place a Neighbour Bet:

  • First select a chip value from the main screen.
  • Click on the Neighbour Bets Icon on the bottom right of the screen.
  • A new pop up panel will appear with a small animation of the roulette wheel and the four buttons numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  • First choose your number on the mini roulette wheel.
  • Then choose the number of neighbours from the buttons (1-4) below.
  • When you have selected these, all active numbers will be highlighted on the number panel on the main screen.
  • Your Total Bet for the accumulative amount of Neighbour Bets will be displayed in the Total Bet Box.
  • You can make multiple Neighbour Bets in any single spin.
  • Press the Clear button to remove Neighbour Bets and start again.
  • When you have selected your Neighbour Bets press close to return the main screen.

To Place an Announce Bet:

  • Select a chip from the main screen.
  • Click on the Announce Bets Icon on the bottom right of the screen.
  • A new pop up panel will appear on screen. This will display a betting area strip as well as all the options for Announce Bets. More information will be displayed below on the different Announce Bets you can make.
  • Each time you click on an Announce Bet option a chip will be placed on that bet. You can right-click to remove a chip.
  • The corresponding numbers of the Announce Bets will be displayed on the numbered betting area on the pop up panel.
  • You can place multiple Announce Bets for any single spin.
  • Press Close when you have finished placing your Announce Bets.

How to Play:

  • When you have placed a chip on the betting area clicking again will add another chip of that value to the bet.
  • If you wish to remove a chip from the betting area, right-click on it.
  • You will be able to make multiple bets on multiple outcomes, providing you have enough funds in your account.
  • The game has a timer that will display the amount of time you have to place all your bets. When you are happy with your selections, press Confirm. You cannot remove bets after Confirm has been selected, however additional bets may be placed provided the timer hasn’t ran out. In this situation your must select Confirm once more. If you have not confirmed your bets they will not be active for the game.
  • If there is no timer displayed, you must press the Spin Button on the bottom centre of the screen to start the game. The Spin Button will only be active when your bets are within the confines of the minimum and maximum betting limits.
  • The Spin button will spin the reel and start the game. You will not be able to change bets after selecting Spin.
  • Once the Ball has come to rest on the Roulette Wheel, any winning bets will be immediately highlighted and paid into your casino balance.
  • After a game you can set your bets again or select Rebet & Spin to play the same bets as before.

More:

There are multiple betting options for Premium French Roulette, including Neighbour and Announce Bets. The different betting options are displayed below. A payout table will also be displayed further down the page.

Standard Bets:

The following is a list and description of the combinations of Standard Bets that can be made in this version of online roulette:

Plein (Straight Up): A bet on a single number being the winning number. Place your chip entirely inside the square of the number you wish to bet on.

Cheval (Split Bet): A bet on two numbers that sit adjacent to each other on the betting area. Place your chip on the line that divides the two numbers.

Transversale Pleine (Street Bet): A bet on 3 numbers that sit in the same row of the betting area. Place your chip on the line on the edge of the ‘street’, for example on the left edge of ‘16’ to bet on 16, 17 and 18.  You can also bet on 0, 1 and 2 or 0, 2 and 3 as a Street Bet by placing a chip on the intersection where those combinations meet.

Carré (Corner Bet): Betting on 4 different numbers. Place your chip on the intersection of lines where 4 numbers meet.

Transversale de Quatre (Four Bet): a bet on 0, 1 , 2 and 3. Place your chips on the line where 0 meets the first row (1, 2 and 3).

Transversale Simple (Line Bet): a bet on two streets. Place your chip at the point where at the point where the two lower numbers on each line meet. For example, placing the chip on the intersection between ‘16’ and ‘19’ would place a bet on 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22.

Colonne (Column Bet): a bet on a strip of twelve numbers. Place your chip in one of the three boxes at the bottom of the right of the table (directly opposite the ‘0’ square). If, for example, you place a chip on the left hand square (the one closest to you), that would place a bet on numbers 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31 and 34. It pays 2-1, with ‘0’ being a losing bet.

Douzaine (Dozen Bet): a bet on twelve numbers in numerical order, i.e. 1-12, 13-24 etc. Place a chip in one of the boxes marked P12, M12, D12, they stand for first dozen (1-12), middle dozen (13-24) and last dozen (25-36) respectively. It pays 2-1 with ‘0’ being a losing bet.

Rouge/Noir (Red/Black): a bet on the ball landing on a Red or Black segment. It pays 1-1 (Evens). Place your chip on one of the squares with the large Red or Black Diamonds. If the ball lands on the ‘0’ segment you will be given half your stake back, this is called La Partage Rule.

Pair / Impair (Even / Odd Bet): a bet on the ball landing on an Odd or Even number. Place your chip in one of the rectangle with Impair/Odd or Pair/Even. It pays 1-1 (Evens). If the ball lands on the ‘0’ segment you get half your stake back.

Manque (1-18) / Passe (19-36) (Low / High Bet): a bet on the first (1-18) or second (19-36) group of numbers. Place your chip in one of the rectangles marked Manque/1-18 or Passe/19-36. It pays 1-1. La Partage Rule applies when the ball lands on ‘0’.

Description of returns

The winnings also depend on the number of chips involved in the bet. For example, in the case of Finales a Cheval 9/10, four chips are placed to cover 9, 10, 19/20, 29/30, If 9 or 10 is hit, the return is 35 + 1 - 4 = 32 chips. If 19, 20, 29 or 30 is hit, the return is 17 + 1 - 4 = 14 chips.

La Partage Rule:

Premium French Roulette uses La Partage (sharing) Rule. If the ball lands on ‘0’ in even money bets, i.e. Red/Black, Odd/Even or High/Low, you will be get half your stake returned.
