The objective of Vegas Blackjack! is to get a hand that totals 21 or is closer to 21 than the dealer's hand without exceeding 21.
The value of a hand is the sum of the individual cards values. Blackjack is the highest hand and consists of two cards: an ace and any 10-point card. Blackjack beats a score of 21.
You can choose 1 to 5 hands to play on in a game round. The chosen hands are played clockwise, starting from your rightmost hand. The dealer's hand is played last. You may split, double and take insurance, just like in standard Blackjack.
Vegas Blackjack! is a variant of Blackjack with the following rules:
If your first 2 cards have the same value, then you may split them into 2 separate hands. The second hand will have the same bet as the hand it was split from. You will then draw additional cards to each hand. You may draw as many cards as you like on each split hand, unless you split 2 aces (in which case you can receive only 1 additional card for each ace). If you receive an ace and a 10-value card in a split hand, it is considered 21 and not Blackjack.
You can double your bet on a hand before you take a third card. You cannot double the bet on a hand after taking a third card. After doubling a bet, a third and final card will be dealt to you automatically. You can double on all your hands, if you wish. You can also double your bet on a split hand.
If the dealer's first face up card is an Ace you will be given a chance to insure each of your regular bets against the dealer having Blackjack. If you take Insurance, then an amount equal to half your original bet will be deducted from your balance and placed separately on the table. If the dealer has Blackjack, you are paid 2 to 1 on your insurance. This way you do not lose your original bet (because you receive the value of your original bet plus the insurance amount back). If the dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose the insurance amount. Insurance does not affect any side bets.
It is theoretically possible for the player to draw 10 cards without going bust. In this case the player's hand automatically wins, except when the dealer has Blackjack. 10-Card Charlie is also applicable on a split hand.
A side bet is a wager you can make beyond the regular game bet to get an extra win, even if your regular game hand does not win. The side bet payout depends on the combination that the cards form.
Place the Perfect Pairs side bet on the PERFECT PAIRS betting area adjacent to any regular bet area that contains a regular bet.
A Perfect Pairs bet pays when your initial 2 cards form a Perfect Pair, a Coloured Pair or a Red/Black Pair.
The payout format used in all the above paytables shows that when you win, you get back your bet plus an amount that is a multiple of your bet.
You can place a 21+3 side bet on the '21+3' betting area, found beneath each regular betting area, for each of your hands that has a regular bet placed on it. This side bet wins if your first two cards and the dealer's first card form a Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Straight Flush or Suited Three of a Kind combination.
The Perfect Pair, Coloured Pair, Red/Black Pair, and 21+3 combinations pay in accordance with the paytable below.
Side bets cannot be placed without placing a regular bet. All types of side bets can be placed at the same time.
|Suited Three Of A Kind||100:1|
|Three Of A Kind||30:1|
Note: The payout format used here means that when you win, you get back your bet plus an amount that is a multiple of your bet.
Note on disconnections: if you are disconnected from the Internet in the middle of the game, log in again into the casino. You will be automatically directed back to the game and you can continue the game from the point where it was broken. If you re-open the game without re-logging into the casino, the game will start from the very beginning. In both cases, your previous wins will be paid.
To check the results of your old games or find additional details about recent games, click the History button, available in the Menu. Use your regular username and password to log in and check the outcome of previous rounds of both desktop and mobile version of the game.
Note on malfunctions: a malfunction voids all pays and plays.
Note on unresolved bets: unresolved bets placed become void after 90 days.
The theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) is 98.34%.
The theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) for the 21+3 side bet is 95.38%.
The theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) for Player's/Dealer's pairs side bet is 93.89%.
Here's a rundown of some of our most popular online casino games, including how to play them, and which offers the highest payouts.
Online slots are played more than any other online casino games. They’re relatively simple to play, which makes them a great option for beginners. Slots can also offer large payouts, particularly for a jackpot win.
Playing slots online is very straightforward. The simplest form of online slots are three-reel slots, which are based on the traditional fruit machines you may have seen in arcades. In these slots, you’ll see three columns and three rows of symbols, with the middle row being the payline. You place your bet and spin the reel, and if you get a winning combination, you win the amount stated on the paytable.
There are many other kinds of slots online available at William Hill Canada, such as five-reel slots and video slots, but they essentially work in the same way. While the odds of winning at slots are slimmer than other online casino games, they do allow you to play with small stakes on a wide variety of slots. Slots with a jackpot offer a larger prize pool, so let’s have a look at those next.
The main difference between regular online slots and jackpot slots is that the former have a lower maximum payout. With jackpot slots, however, there are larger top prizes, sometimes offering up to a seven-digit win on just a single spin.
While 'jackpot' can refer to a fixed huge cash prize awarded during jackpot games, the term is also used to describe progressive slot games. For fixed jackpot slots the size of the jackpot is, well, a fixed amount. With a progressive slot, the size of the jackpot increases each time a player places a bet on the game. Progressive jackpot slots are a great way to add to your online gambling experience. These games can offer some of the most exciting experiences of all casino games, as they provide you with the chance to win the biggest payouts you'll find online.
Online roulette games consist of a wheel with spaces that are either red or black and are numbered from 1-36. This popular game is easy to learn and even easier to play. All you need to do is predict where the ball will land and place your bet. The roulette wheel then spins, and if it lands on where you placed your bet, you win.
You may think that only one variant of roulette exists in online casinos, as this is typically the case at real-world casinos. However, at William Hill Canada, you’ll find multiple variants available, including a European version with one zero, and an American version with two. You’ll also find a French version that offers slightly improved odds if you bet on an even-money proposition.
To win at online blackjack, you need a higher number than the dealer without exceeding 21. You are dealt two cards and can ask for another card as many times as you want before you reach 21.
One of the great things about playing online blackjack is the number of variants available. At a real-world casino, you’re restricted to just one or two games, but you'll find more here at William Hill Canada, including Blackjack Scratch, Royale Blackjack, and Blackjack Super 21.

You’ll be playing at real tables, with real cards, and with real croupiers dealing your cards or spinning the wheel. Depending on the game, you'll also be playing with other players from all over the globe. With the ability to enjoy live chat with both players and the dealer, live casino offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an immersive experience while playing your favourite casino games online.
