Bet On Baccarat Live

We offer eight deck Live Baccarat with a live dealer and a real Baccarat table. We use standard Baccarat rules. The goal is to predict which side will win, the Banker or the Player, or if the result will be a Tie. There are also several additional bets available.

Note that Casino allows up to 1,000 simultaneous players.

Betting flow

  • If a game round is in progress when you enter the table, please wait for the next one.
  • To participate in the game, select a bet type from the list to open the betting panel.
  • On the betting panel, select the bet amount. You can add the amount manually or choose from the available quick options. The total amount is shown on the panel and it updates every time you add a new bet amount to it.
  • As soon as you have placed the bet and the panel is closed, this bet is confirmed, and you cannot change it. Confirmed bets are displayed on the bet slips.
  • You can place several bets during one game round. The bet types list is updated with new info as soon as a bet is placed.
  • The timer in the game window shows how much time you have left to place your bets. Game round starts automatically.
  • Winnings are paid for the winning bets at the end of each game round.
  • To skip a turn, simply do not place any bets on the table.

Game flow

  • Betting round starts and you can place your bets via betting panel.
  • When the game round starts, you and the Banker are dealt cards in the following order: first card to the Player, second card to the Banker, third card the Player, fourth card to the Banker. In certain cases, a third card is dealt to the Player and/or the Banker. See the Third Card Rules under the Rules section for more information.
  • Card values are calculated and the hand with the sum closest to 9 wins. Additional bets are also resolved.
  • Results and the win/loss info is displayed on each bet slip.
  • To play another game round, place your bets again via the betting panel or use the Rebet button on the previous bet slips.

Limit ranges

In this game all the available bet types have their own limits and although you can create several bet slips per bet type, the bets on the bet slips should not exceed the bet type’s limit.

The limit ranges displayed next to the table name in the Lobby and on the game table UI correspond to Player/Banker bet limits

Bet types list

Two columns are displayed:

  • Bet Types : available bets by name
  • Odds : info about the payout

In the footer you will see the Max Possible Win value, which is the total of the Possible Wins of the bets that you are placing. In case of mutually exclusive bets, only the higher possible win amount is considered.

Betting panel

On the top: the bet name and its Odds value.

In the centre of the panel: the total amount you are about to bet on the bet type.

You can add the bet amount manually or choose from the available quick options. When you select a quick option, the value on the total amount field and on the Possible Win line is updated.

If you wish to change your bet, you must press the “X” on the total amount field, which then deletes the bet and you can start over. As soon as you press the Place Bet button, the bet is confirmed and cannot be reversed.

Bet Slip panel

During the game round, the panel shows the following info:

  • The number of bets you made
  • Max possible win
  • Bet type’s name and the Odds value
  • The amount you bet
  • Specific bet’s Possible Win

After the game round result has been confirmed, some of the info on the panel is updated:

  • If you won with a bet, the Possible Win line changes to Won and displays the amount won
  • For bets that did not win, the Possible Win line changes to Lose

Bet types

  • If the Banker’s hand score is closer to 9 than the Player’s, it wins, and vice versa.
  • The Tie wins if both sides’ hand scores are equal.

Egalite Extra bets

It allows you to bet that the Player and Banker hands will form a specific Tie with an equal score.

  • Your bet wins if the hands result in a Tie of the same specific score. If the result of the hand is not a Tie, all Egalite Extra bets are lost.

Card shuffle

Eight pre-shuffled decks are used in the game. When a new set of pre-shuffled cards arrives at the table, the cards are placed in the shoe and dealer places a divider into the new set of cards. Once the divider is dealt, the dealer announces that the cards will be replaced in the following round. Each time a new set of cards arrives at the table, all previous cards are removed. Additional shuffle is performed at the table before placing the new cards into the shoe.

New shoe card burn*: At the beginning of each new shoe, the dealer draws the first card from the shoe face up and the number of cards that corresponds to the value of the first card is burned (i.e. discarded), face down.
* Only available if enabled by your service provider.

Card shuffle

Cards are automatically shuffled after each game round.

Return to Player and payout tables

The theoretical return to player is 96.24% – 97%.

In case of Tie, you lose all you non-Tie main bets.

Baccarat Squeeze

This is a variant* of the regular Baccarat. Rules, win ratios and payouts are the same as in regular Baccarat, the difference is in how the cards are placed on the table and opened.

In Baccarat Squeeze, the cards are placed on the table face down. Second and (if required) third card of the side (Player or Banker) that received higher number of bets is squeezed in front of a designated camera before it is revealed to players. The side that received more bets is always squeezed first, with one exception: if third card was not dealt to Banker side, Player’s third card is always squeezed. If the number of bets placed on both sides is equal, both sides are squeezed.
*Only available if enabled by your service provider.

Six Scanner Baccarat

This is a variant* of the regular Baccarat. Rules, win ratios and payouts are the same as in regular Baccarat, the difference is in how the cards placed on the table and opened. The physical Baccarat game table that is used in this variant has six scanners. Six cards are dealt face down, placed on their respective positions and scanned. The flow for opening cards is the same as in regular Baccarat, however, if the Player / Banker third card is not required, it is removed from the table face down.
*Only available if enabled by your service provider.

7 Seat Baccarat

This is a variant* of the regular Baccarat. Rules, win ratios, payouts and card dealing style are the same as in regular Baccarat, the difference is that the number of seats at the table is limited to seven and every player has a designated position at the table where they place their bets. An unlimited number of players can occupy one seat, but you see only your own bets on the designated position. You can select your seat from the Lobby via seat selector (only Mobile Native Application users are placed on a random available seat). Note that once at the table, you cannot change your seat, unless you rejoin via Lobby; and once your bets are confirmed, you cannot leave the table until the game round is over.
You can see other player’s nicknames and main bets on the table. You have the option hide your bets from others players via Settings panel, in which case your bets are displayed in hidden state.
*Only available if enabled by your service provider.

Live Baccarat Rules

The object of the game is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9.

Card values:

  • Aces count as one
  • Cards 2 through 9 as their face value
  • Tens and face cards count as zero

If the value of the hand is ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the Baccarat point value of the hand. For example: 7+6=13=3, or 4+6=10=0.

Choose from the following bet types and confirm the bet slip: the Banker, the Player and/or the Tie. The Player and the Banker are then each dealt a two-card hand in the following order: first card to the Player, second card to the Banker, third card the Player, fourth card to the Banker. In certain cases, a third card is dealt to the Player and/or the Banker. Please see the Third Card Rules section for more information.

How to play casino games

Here's a rundown of some of our most popular online casino games, including how to play them, and which offers the highest payouts.

Online slots

Online slots are played more than any other online casino games. They’re relatively simple to play, which makes them a great option for beginners. Slots can also offer large payouts, particularly for a jackpot win.

Playing slots online is very straightforward. The simplest form of online slots are three-reel slots, which are based on the traditional fruit machines you may have seen in arcades. In these slots, you’ll see three columns and three rows of symbols, with the middle row being the payline. You place your bet and spin the reel, and if you get a winning combination, you win the amount stated on the paytable.

There are many other kinds of slots online available at William Hill Canada, such as five-reel slots and video slots, but they essentially work in the same way. While the odds of winning at slots are slimmer than other online casino games, they do allow you to play with small stakes on a wide variety of slots. Slots with a jackpot offer a larger prize pool, so let’s have a look at those next.

Jackpot slots

The main difference between regular online slots and jackpot slots is that the former have a lower maximum payout. With jackpot slots, however, there are larger top prizes, sometimes offering up to a seven-digit win on just a single spin.

While 'jackpot' can refer to a fixed huge cash prize awarded during jackpot games, the term is also used to describe progressive slot games. For fixed jackpot slots the size of the jackpot is, well, a fixed amount. With a progressive slot, the size of the jackpot increases each time a player places a bet on the game. Progressive jackpot slots are a great way to add to your online gambling experience. These games can offer some of the most exciting experiences of all casino games, as they provide you with the chance to win the biggest payouts you'll find online.

Online roulette

Online roulette games consist of a wheel with spaces that are either red or black and are numbered from 1-36. This popular game is easy to learn and even easier to play. All you need to do is predict where the ball will land and place your bet. The roulette wheel then spins, and if it lands on where you placed your bet, you win.

You may think that only one variant of roulette exists in online casinos, as this is typically the case at real-world casinos. However, at William Hill Canada, you’ll find multiple variants available, including a European version with one zero, and an American version with two. You’ll also find a French version that offers slightly improved odds if you bet on an even-money proposition.

Online blackjack

To win at online blackjack, you need a higher number than the dealer without exceeding 21. You are dealt two cards and can ask for another card as many times as you want before you reach 21.

One of the great things about playing online blackjack is the number of variants available. At a real-world casino, you’re restricted to just one or two games, but you'll find more here at William Hill Canada, including Blackjack Scratch, Royale Blackjack, and Blackjack Super 21.

Live casino games online

This is where online casino technology really comes into its own. Some players enjoy the thrills provided by a real-life casino but also enjoy the convenience of playing online. Live casino offers the ultimate experience to these players. The only difference between playing live casino at home and playing at a land-based casino is that with the former, the action is live-streamed to your device.

You’ll be playing at real tables, with real cards, and with real croupiers dealing your cards or spinning the wheel. Depending on the game, you'll also be playing with other players from all over the globe. With the ability to enjoy live chat with both players and the dealer, live casino offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy an immersive experience while playing your favourite casino games online.

Enjoy free online casino games with casino bonuses

An online casino bonus is a great way to boost your balance with extra funds and make playing your favourite online slots even more fun. Casino bonuses come in a number of different forms and are applicable to a variety of online casino games.

Almost all casinos bonuses are subject to their own terms and conditions, but what you get back is certainly worth it.
