7 e mezzo

7 e mezzo is played with a 40-card deck (the cards value from 1 to 7 and 3 face cards, with 4 suits). Face cards are worth half a point each, whereas ace to 7 are worth their nominal value. The objective is to reach the highest possible score without exceeding 7½.

  • When you open 7 e mezzo, first you need to choose your Table Limits and click join to start the game.
  • If you click the Don't show again toggle first and then click Continue, the introduction screen will not appear when you next launch the game.
  • This game is played with 1 hand. In order to play, you must place a bet on your hand.
  • To place a bet, click on a chip in the bottom left of the screen to select your chip value. Click on one of the available betting areas (the larger circles) to place the bet. Every click increases your bets by the value of the selected chip.
  • Side bets can be placed on the 'Partita Perfetta' or the 'Mano di Poker' betting areas under your hand to the left or right respectively.
  • You can click CLEAR BETS to remove all bets from the table.

  • Clicking DOUBLE & DEAL doubles all bets of the previous round and deals the cards immediately.
  • Click UNDO to remove the last bet made from the table.
  • The minimum and maximum bet limits depend on your level and are shown at the top-left of the table. The limits apply to the initial bet only.
  • Click the DEAL button to deal the cards. The player and dealer are each dealt 1 card.
  • Click HIT to request another card. If you do not want any more cards, click STAND.
  • When the dealer has stopped taking cards your hand is compared to the dealer's hand. If your hand has a higher value than the dealer's and has not exceeded 7½, you win with that hand.
  • If any hand value reaches 8 or more, it is bust and automatically loses.
  • If you want to play another round, place bets as described above or click REBETto place the same bets as in the previous round, then click DEAL to deal the cards. The 7 e mezzo game uses the Neapolitan playing card suits. The cards are divided into Denari (Coins), Coppe (Cups), Spade (Swords) and Bastoni (Clubs).

The objective of 7 e mezzo is to get a hand worth 7½, or closer to 7½ than the dealer's hand without exceeding 7½.

  • One 40-card deck is used (a standard deck of cards with the 8s, 9s and 10s removed). After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
  • The cards are divided into Denari (Coins), Coppe (Cups), Spade (Swords) and Bastoni (Clubs).
  • The cards A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 are worth their face value (Ace = 1).
  • The cards J, Q, K are worth ½, except for the King of Denari.
  • The King of Denari is a wild card that can count as the value of any other card.
  • A hand’s value is the total of the value of the cards in the hand. If the hand’s value exceeds 7½, then the hand has “busted”.
  • You and the dealer are each dealt one card, face down.
  • You look at your down-card. If your down-card is a J, Q, or K (including the King of Denari), then one more card will be automatically drawn to you. Otherwise, you can choose to hit or stand. You may continue to hit until your total is 7½ or over (you have “busted”) or until you choose to stand.
  • After your hand is resolved, the dealer turns over their down-card and plays their hand as follows:
    • If you have busted, then the hand is over, and the dealer does not draw. Otherwise, the dealer draws cards as described below.
    • The dealer must hit if their first card is a J, Q, or K (including the King of Denari).
    • If your total is less than 7½, then the dealer must hit until their total is 3 or greater. The dealer stands on a total of 3 or greater.
    • If your total is 7½, then the dealer must hit until their total is 7½ or greater.
  • After the dealer stops drawing cards, your final hand and dealer’s final hand are compared, and the round is resolved according to the paytable below:

Player has two cards 7½ with King of Denari

Player hand value > 7½ (player busts)

Dealer hand value > 7½ (dealer busts)

Player hand value < dealer hand value

Player hand value = dealer hand value

Player hand value > dealer hand value

A side bet is a wager you can make beyond the regular game bet to get an extra win even if your regular game hand does not win or bust. The side bet payout depends on the combination that the cards form.

This side bet is calculated by your first card and dealer’s first card.

Partita Perfetta is calculated after dealer stops drawing cards for their hand; in order for you to win this side bet, the dealer must uncover their first card.

To win the Partita Perfetta side bet, you must form a pair of the same cards using your first card and the dealer’s first card.

Pays X to 1

Pair of 7s

Pair of face cards

Pair 1 to 6

This side bet is calculated by your first 2 cards and dealer’s first card. The Mano di Poker side bet is calculated after the dealer stops drawing cards for their hand.

If you decided not to hit a second card, you cannot win the Mano di Poker side bet. (If you hit the second card and bust, you can still win the side bet).

To win the Mano di Poker side bet, you must be dealt cards of the following combinations below.
